CHIC is participating in a physician
authentication pilot with HIMSS and the federal government's General
Services Agency (GSA). The objective of this pilot is to test its
applicability for single sign-on access to multiple remote
electronic health record (EHR) systems. CHIC has retained
VisionShare Inc to build a state-of-the-art Shibboleth system to
provide this service.
